I am sure you have heard or read that artificial fragrances are as bad for you as second hand smoke. It's true unfortunately. We have totally removed artificial fragrances from our home completely. Some of the products that you may have in your home that contain them are candles, fabric softener, cleaners, dryer sheets, perfume, shampoo, soaps and the list goes on. Actually years ago, buying artisan soap was the first step I took to start detoxifying our lives. You don't have to do it all at once. When a product runs out, look for an all natural product. They have them to replace everything!! You can even make your own.

Your endocrine system is your adrenals, pituitary, thyroid, sex hormones, and more. This system affects everything in your body. If you disrupt it, you disrupt everything! Did you know they are not regulated in personal care products?? Crazy right? If you were reading the back of a product that said...."causes cancer and disrupts hormones," would you buy it?? No you would not. I did for years not knowing how I was harming my body! I used to burn candles, load on the perfume, spray the house with Febreze, get the strongest smelling dryer sheets I could find along with all my personal care products. Essential Oils are my biggest friend now. They are what we scent our Sudsy Bars with and are in almost every product I use in our home. There is a ton of information on this online. I urge you to do some research and dig into it a bit. It really is scary.
