If you are looking to up your skincare routine, a facial serum is the way to go. Facial Serums are applied after cleansing your face. Moisturizer is usually applied after that. Some people feel they do not need a moisturizer after applying serum. I do because I feel the moisturizer locks in the serum and leaves your skin feeling hydrated and nourished. It all comes down to preference.
Many people believe that if a serum is placed on their face that it will make oily skin even oiler. Actually it's quite the opposite! If our skin is dehydrated, it tends to over produce oil production making our skin feel very oily. The oils that we use in our Glō Facial Serum are all skin balancing oils. They are non-greasy and light. Pumpkin Seed Oil is full of Omega 3 & 6's. These fatty acids help replenish hydration. Pumpkin Seed Oil fights free radicals, calms and soothes, moisturizes, absorbs quickly and helps reduce fine lines. Our second oil that is used is Meadow Foam Seed Oil. Meadow foam is very similar to our own natural sebum. It has a velvety texture, non-greasy, locks in moisture and softens skin. It also is known to reduce the appearance of fine lines. It also balances our skin's own sebum production. Your skin will feel soft, hydrated, and nourished after applying our Glō Facial Serum morning and night. A little goes a long way. I usually use about 1/2 a pump. It truly softens the fine lines under my eyes!
Lastly, the icing on the cake is the essential oils that we use in Glō. I would say they are the top essential oils that are used in skincare products.
